Buyer's guide – reflective tape yes or no?

The surrounding reflective strip makes you significantly more visible in the dark – while remaining visually discreet. Whether you choose this option depends primarily on when and where you mainly use the umbrella.

How does the reflective strip work?

In daylight, the reflective strip is only subtly noticeable. Under headlights or streetlights, it reflects very strongly, making you much more visible – especially from the perspective of drivers or cyclists.

When is the reflective tape particularly useful?

Typical situations in which our customers greatly appreciate the reflective tape:

Commuting in the city at night: public transport, parking garages, side streets. Often out late for work. Jogging or dog walking in the evening.

Our recommendation: If you are frequently outdoors in the early morning or evening, the reflective strip is a worthwhile safety feature. If you primarily use the umbrella in daylight or prefer a more classic look, you can easily do without this option.
