1. The 3 Lengths – the right safety umbrella for everyone and every situation

People and situations are different. That's precisely why the safety umbrella is available in several lengths – from the extremely handy model for confined spaces to the XXL version for optimal rain protection and more distance.

  • City-Safe (78 cm): compact – ideal for public transport, entrances, stairwells, narrow paths
  • Standard: the all-rounder for everyday use, perfect for two people
  • XXL (103 cm): more reach/coverage – often popular with taller people

City-Safe (78 cm):

2. Models & Variants

Over the years, we haven't made "one model for all," but have developed variants that cover real needs: handy, balanced – or extra large. This is not marketing, but the result of experience, feedback, and continuous development.

  • City-Safe: extremely handy – especially in confined situations
  • Standard: The perfect compromise between sufficient rain protection and good handling
  • XXL: comfortable rain protection and maximum distance & reach
Simply choose: handy, balanced or maximum size – depending on everyday life, body height and application. You can choose one of the nine real wood handles for any size and have the option with or without reflective strip.
Note: The "City-Safe" is extremely handy and offers rain protection for one person; the "Standard" is the model for two and the "XXL" is for tall people and offers very comfortable rain protection.

3. Women's Umbrellas – more compact, but uncompromising

Our women's model is the finely tuned variant for women. Discreet and immediately at hand in an emergency. With the same stability that characterizes the safety umbrellas.

  • Length: 86 cm – "golden mean" for many
  • Popular: Color variants Black / Aubergine / Blue
  • For whom? Women are unfortunately often victims – but that doesn't have to be the case.

Tip: In the configurator, you can immediately see which variant suits you best.

Finer tuned – slightly lighter than the men's umbrellas. With three cover colors: blue, aubergine and black. With a crook handle (no option for another handle).
Note: We offer the women's umbrella in three different cover colors, each with a black crook handle and the option of with or without a reflective strip.

4. Handles – Real Wood, Shape & Control

The handle is more than just optics: it determines handling, feel, and control. The safety umbrella is available with the classic crook handle or with our specially developed knob handle in seven different woods. Important: All men's umbrellas come with real wood handles.

Important Note

For self-protection, the type of handle (crook or knob) is of secondary importance. You will receive the logical explanation for this in our video tutorial "Self-Defense with an Umbrella."

Real wood – please note:

  • Unique: Grain & color tone are natural
  • Care: Wood is softer than stone/metal – avoid hard impacts
  • Haptics: warm, grippy, high-quality

5. Reflective Strip – optional, but often useful

Some prefer the umbrella to be subtle and inconspicuous – others want to be more visible at dusk and in the dark. That's why the reflective strip is optional (no extra charge).

  • with reflective strip: better visibility
  • without reflective strip: classic look
  • Decision: You can choose directly in the configurator and later in the shop whether you want your safety umbrella with or without a reflective strip.

Quick decision

  • Are you often out and about in the evening, at dusk or in the dark? → rather with reflective strip
  • Is look & understatement important? → rather without reflective strip

6. Shaft & Stability – the core

A safety umbrella must feel reliable and guarantee not to fail in an emergency. The shaft made of high-tech carbon material is the core element.

Carbon: Stability meets quality. The 14mm thick carbon shaft is not only extremely stable but also scratch-resistant and visually appealing. The core of a beautiful umbrella.
Load test: Interested parties keep asking us if you can stand on our umbrellas. We then carried out a tough test with an axle load of approximately 500 kg: nothing broke.
Note: The carbon shaft is the core and your "life insurance"; extremely stable yet only insignificantly heavier than a conventional umbrella.

7. Mechanism – reliable in use

Many umbrellas fail due to their mechanism. That's why our umbrella mechanism has been specifically further developed – for stability, everyday suitability, and reliable function.
