Partner Guide – Getting Started with Your Affiliate Link

Welcome! Here is the short step-by-step guide so you can get started in just a few minutes. If anything is unclear, simply write to us at info@sicherheitsschirm.com.

In 2 minutes to your partner link – and in under 1 minute to your product link (for example City Safe).
1-minute start
In the partner portal: Dashboard → Affiliate Link → Copy
Important
To make payouts work: on the left click Payment → enter your payment details.

Tip: In your browser (Chrome), click Translate at the top → activate “Always translate English”.
Important: done in 2–3 clicks

Link directly to a product (product of your choice)

Many partners do not want to link only to the homepage, but directly to a specific model (for example City Safe / Standard / XXL). This is really simple in the partner portal:

Open “Get product link”
Dashboard → button Get product link

Paste in the product URL
Open the desired product in the shop (for example City Safe) and copy the URL into the field.

Generate & copy
Click Generate → then Copy and save.
✅ This is what a correct product partner link looks like

Rule to remember: product page first – then ?sca_ref=YOURCODE
❌ Please do NOT build it like this
https://sicherheitsschirm.com?sca_ref=YOURCODE/herrenschirm-city-safe
This often does not work because the product part is attached incorrectly after ?sca_ref.
Mini test (30 seconds)
  1. Open an incognito window
  2. Paste in the link
  3. If the product page opens → ✅ everything is correct

Most questions come up here: creating the product link correctly (so the commission is tracked reliably).
Go to product link Go to copy templates

2) Find your standard partner link

In the partner portal go to Dashboard → section Default Affiliate Link → Copy.

3) Use images & templates

In the menu on the left: Marketing Tools. There you will find (depending on approval) images, banners and templates.

4) Track by channel (YouTube/Instagram)

To see which channel performs best, use the button Get link with source in the portal (for example source=youtube / source=instagram / source=newsletter).

5) Transparency notice (important)

Please briefly label recommendations, for example with “partner link” / “affiliate link” or “advertising”. This looks professional and is legally clean.

6) Activate payouts

In the menu on the left: Payment → enter your payment details. Without payment details, payouts cannot be made.
